This bread is so easy that I'm thinking that i won't buy bread anymore and will start baking it instead. I took this recipe from a friend that always inspires me with her delicious dishes and I wanted to share it with you!
Yesterday I woke up very early and suddenly I found myself in the kitchen making this recipe, it was so easy that I was surprised.
So here it goes! (instructions below)
Ingredients
• 400g whole spelt flour
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1 tsp dry yeast
• 1 ½ tbsp date honey
• 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
• 1 cup of warm water
• Seeds of any type (I put pumpkin)
Instructions:
In a bowl mix together the flour, salt and dry yeast
Add the date honey and olive oil and continue mixing
Add the warm water, mix and start kneading the dough
Add the seeds
Continue knead for some minutes
Put the dough in a rectangular pan (approx. 20cm*12cm)
• Let rise for an hour
• Put in oven 175°C for 30/40 min.
